How to find us
Arriving by Car
Follow the brown signpost for Mayfield Garden Centre until you turn into Abbey Row. We are located in between The White Swan and the Queens Head. There is free parking on Abbey Row to the front of Inglestone House or in The Knowes Car Park, (postcode TD5 7BH / what3words arrived.motorist.deeds) a short walk away through the Abbey gardens (Abbey Row is a one way street so if no space is available, you should go to the end of the road and turn right onto Bridge street then right again along Woodmarket and take the first right turn to enter Abbey Row, turn left into The Butts for the Knowes and the car park is on your right).
For guests with mobility issues you can drop off at the rear of Inglestone House, in the area between The Royal Bank of Scotland and Blairs the Jewellers. This is an access only area and you should not park here, there are disabled parking bays opposite this area on Woodmarket.
For guests with electric vehicles, charging point locations can be found here https://www.carwow.co.uk/electric-cars/charging-points
Arriving by Cycle/Foot
Using the Town Hall in the Square as your reference, go through the alleyway between The Royal Bank of Scotland and the Borders Pet Rescue shop. Turn immediate left and we are on the left before The White Swan.
We have a shed in our courtyard garden providing storage for cycles (spaces are limited, maximum 4 electric, so please check before booking). We still suggest that guests bring their own locks as we do not provide these. Cycles are stored at guests own risk.
Please note that we have no facilities to charge e-bikes with built-in batteries. E-bikes with removable batteries can be charged in the room in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.

Colourful visitor to Kelso
The Cobby riverside walk in Kelso is known for it's picturesque views and resident wildfowl. We were delighted to find a Mandarin duck snoozing next to a distinctly dull mallard on one of our lockdown strolls.
