Visitors to Kelso often comment on the pretty floral displays in the town and those at it’s various entrances. What most people don’t realise is that the displays are looked after by volunteers.
Kelso Horticultural Society and Kelso In Bloom are responsible for planting and maintaining most of the beds and borders. In September 2019 there was much celebrating as Kelso was awarded 1st place in the Floral Gateway town category .
This achievement was made possible by those townsfolk who regularly give up their time to keep the town looking so attractive. Well done to all involved!
