Pub walks are fine. We prefer a coffee shop at the end of our labours.
Recently we took a trip to Peebles for a fine walk from the town through part of the Glentress forest. We could tell you all about the lovely views etc, etc. However, by far the best part of this day trip was the scrumptious treats available at Cocoa Black on our return.
Cocoa Black houses not only a trendy coffee shop but also a Chocolate & Pastry School run by multi award winning chocolatier, Ruth Hinks. Having worked up quite an appetite we delighted in selecting some Black Forest Cake and a chocolate & hazelnut patisserie. Making a choice is tricky as everything looks amazing.
A good selection of Gluten Free options is available and their coffee is excellent. Well worth a visit if you love chocolate.
